Configure Responsive Breakpoints for WordPress Tables
Ninja Tables plugin offers six different breakpoints for its users to display data in a tabular format. They are set at the exact device widths that you are looking to target. This is a powerful feature of the plugin to ensure the responsiveness of your created tables on your site. Let’s have a look at how things happen:
- To configure Responsive Breakpoints for your table, go to the “Table Configuration” tab.
- Click on the “Edit” button to edit the column you want to configure for the responsive breakpoints.
Below the Responsive Breakpoint, you will find a drop-down that contains six options including:
Always show in all devices:- This option allows the column to show in every device.
Hidden On Desktop:- The Ninja Table will be hidden on the desktop but will show up in mobile and tablet devices.
Totally hidden on all devices:- If you choose this option, It will hide the column on all devices.
Initial hidden Mobile:- This option allows the columns to be showed in all devices except for mobile devices. In the mobile device, the column will be hidden under a plus(+) icon. If any visitor clicks on the plus(+) icon, the hidden column will show its data.
Initial hidden Mobile and Tab:- This option allows the column to be shown in all devices except mobile and Tab device. In mobile and tab devices, the column will be hidden under a plus(+) icon. If any visitor clicks on the plus(+) icon, the hidden column will show its data.
Initial hidden Mobile, Tab, and all Regular Computer:- If anyone selects this option then the column data will be hidden under the plus(+) icon on every device. To see the data visitors have to click on the plus(+) icon.
You can choose any one of the configurations according to your need. If you want to show some specific data of the table in limited devices such as only to show in mobile devices, just make sure you have chosen the right option from the Responsive Breakpoint section.
