WordPress in 2025 Report
The “WordPress in 2025” report highlights significant opportunities for WordPress this year. If you want to understand where WordPress is headed, you may want to take a look at this report.
WordPress was popular among bloggers who wanted to publish small-scale websites with minimal time frame. But the scenario is changed now. WordPress is more mature and flexible for your long-term strategy.
Let’s have a quick scan of what this report holds. The most significant part is the Block Editor has received a substantial amount of over 34,000 commits. New inventions like Full Site Editing (FSE) empower users to build sites without coding.
Artificial intelligence (AI) presents new growth opportunities the way WordPress achieved growth with its user-friendly publishing tool. The WordPress community can develop an ecosystem of intelligent content tools, not just AI features.
While some headless CMS vendors are trying backwards to add no-code editing, WordPress already integrates robust headless capabilities with its mature editor. For complex sites, combining both approaches is practical.
To explore these developments further, consider attending WP:25, a virtual event discussing WordPress’s future.
